Check out our bike trails! The trails which surround Belle View tie into bike trails, jogging paths and hiking trails in the surround park system. These trails in turn network with a system of trails which lead to Mount Vernon (5 miles south) to the south and National Airport (5 miles north). Museums & Historical
Mount Vernon Mansion and the Alexandria Lyceum are in our neighborhood. Just a few miles down George Washington Parkway is the nationally renown collection of museums called the Smithsonian Institution. Civil War enthusiasts might want to inspect Fort Willard just as President Lincoln did. Fort Willard has long since abandoned its military use and is now a quiet park like Fort Hunt. [back to top]
Playgroup
The Belle View PlayGroup is open to all babies and young children and their parents living in the Belle View area of Alexandria, VA. The playgroup meets weekly at either a local playground or member's home. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
